Wings of Glory, designed by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia, was first published as Wings of War in 2004 by Fantasy Flight Games & Nexus Games. Wings of War was rebooted as Wings of Glory in 2012 by Ares Games. It has been nominated for various Games of the Year awards in Poland, the Netherlands, and Japan. The World War II version won the 2007 Lucca Game Best Card Game award.
